Toshihisa Nishi, a former Japanese Central League Rookie of the Year and four-time Japanese Gold Glove winner, has signed a 2010 contract with the Lancaster Barnstormers, it was announced today by manager Tom Herr.

(Central Islip, N.Y., March 12, 2010) – Long Island Ducks team officials today announced the signings of catcher Robinson Cancel, pitchers Joselo Diaz and Jerome Gamble, and outfielder Billy Kovatch for the 2010 season. The signings bring the Ducks roster to a total of 14 players.

Outfielder Joe Gaetti, son of former Minnesota Twins All-Star third baseman Gary Gaetti, has signed a contract with the Lancaster Barnstormers for the 2010 season, it was announced today by manager Tom Herr.

York Revolution manager and director of baseball operations Andy Etchebarren announced three more signings on Thursday. The Revs have added former Baltimore Orioles prized prospect Matt Riley to the pitching staff, while bringing back hard-throwing reliever Jason Richardson. The team has also acquired shortstop Chuck Jeroloman via trade with Southern Maryland.
