Former Major League pitchers Antonio Alfonseca and Neal Musser have been signed by the Lancaster Barnstormers and will join the team for this weekend’s four-game road series in Southern Maryland, it was announced.

On Friday, June 19, Southern Maryland Blue Crabs Manager Butch Hobson announced that first baseman Eric Crozier is the first ever Blue Crab to have his contract purchased by the Orioles.

Butch Hobson, whose Southern Maryland Bluecrabs are leading the Liberty Divison will manage the Liberty Division and Chris Hoiles, whose York Revolution was beaten by eventual 2008 Atlantic League Champion Somerset Patriots will manage the Freedom Division in the 2009 Atlantic League All Star Game to be played at Bears and Eagles Stadium in Newark, New Jersey on June 23, 2009.

The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball Clubs announces its All Star squads for the league's annual All Star Game which will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Bears and Eagles Stadium in Newark, New Jersey beginning at 7:35 pm.

The game will pit the home Freedom Division (Newark) against the visiting Liberty Division in a contest whose players were chosen by fan, media and team staff balloting.
