Jacob Bosiokovic, a right-handed reliever for the Charleston Dirty Birds in 2023, signed a contract with the Minnesota Twins on Jan. 25, 2025.
Bosiokovic went 4-4 with a 3.35 ERA in 44 appearances for Charleston during the 2023 season. He had a 12.14 strikeout per 9 innings rate, the fourth-highest in the Atlantic League for pitchers with at least 40 innings of work.
Drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 19th round of the 2016 MLB Draft out of Ohio State, Bosiokovic started his professional career as an infielder but moved to the mound in 2019. He was in the Colorado farm system from 2016 until acquired by the Cardinals in 2021. Charleston signed him following the 2022 season where he pitched at Class AAA Memphis.
