Minicozzi Returns as Staten Island Skipper
The Staten Island FerryHawks are pleased to announce the return of Mark Minicozzi as manager for the 2025 season. This will be Minicozzi’s second season at the helm of the FerryHawks and his fifth as a manager in the Atlantic League. As a former 12-year professional player, he brings a wealth of experience to the position. Throughout his career, Minicozzi played in the Giants and Nationals organizations, as well as in the Atlantic League with the Long Island Ducks and Somerset Patriots.
“I’m super excited to return to Staten Island for the 2025 season!” Minicozzi said. “Last year was a great step forward, and I’m eager to build off that success. The fans and community here are amazing, and I’m looking forward to another season of exciting baseball on Staten Island.”
Minicozzi’s first season with the FerryHawks saw the team make significant strides both on the field and within the local community. His leadership has laid the groundwork for a culture that the team can build on in 2025 as the FerryHawks look to reach new heights in their fourth season!
